Dennis Anthony H. Uy is the founder and CEO of Converge ICT Solutions, Inc. in the Philippines.

A visionary and successful entrepreneur, Dennis launched his first business while still in university, and throughout his entrepreneurial journey, has built a number of successful businesses in the telecommunications and related sectors. In 2012, Converge commenced broadband operations with a vision to provide high-speed broadband to millions of unserved and underserved households and businesses in Philippines.

Dennis’ talent and keen eye for innovation has led Converge to successfully introduce new technologies in the Philippine market – full-fiber optic networks, fiber-to-the-building solutions, and minimally-invasive micro-trenching installations. In 2019, Converge secured a USD 225 million investment from global private equity firm Warburg Pincus to support its fiber network expansion. Since acquiring its first broadband customer in 2012, Dennis has built Converge from the ground-up to become the largest and fastest-growing high-speed fixed broadband operator in the Philippines today.

Dennis also serves on the boards of several companies in the technology, media, power, and real estate sectors, and is a founding member and leader of the Asia Pacific FTTH Council.

Dennis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Holy Angel University, in the Philippines.

Jesus Romero is Chief Operations Officer of Converge ICT Solutions, Inc. He oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of the company covering revenue generation, customer experience, product development, and organic growth initiatives through partnerships.

Prior to joining Converge, Mr. Romero held senior leadership positions in Globe Telecom, DTSI Group, Comstream Corporation and Hughes Network Systems. He has led Market Entry, Growth and Transformation in the areas of Telecommunications, Systems Integration and IT services.

Mr. Romero received a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from De La Salle University in Manila.

Ronald G. Brusola is the Chief Technology Officer of Converge ICT Solutions, Inc., responsible for design, implementation, operations and maintenance of Converge network infrastructure. He plays a critical role in ensuring that its end-to-end fiber-based network delivers high-speed and reliable connectivity to residential and enterprise customers. He directed the introduction and implementation of the industry’s latest technologies within Converge’s network, making it a pioneer in the country. His deep experience in network operations and maintenance has ensured the embedding of best practices to ensure a superior customer experience.

Mr. Brusola represents Converge on the Board of Directors of the FTTH Council Asia-Pacific, as Treasurer. He is tasked, as Board member, to accelerate the adoption of optical fiber access through factually-based Education and Promotion across the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to the establishment of Converge, Mr. Brusola was Consultant for Strategy & Control and Chief Operations Officer at ComClark Network and Technology Corp.

Previously, Mr. Brusola was Head of Network Engineering and Implementation at BayanTel. He also held various management and technical positions with Globe Telecom and ICC Telecoms. He started his career as Research & Development Engineer with Signal Consolidated Corp, a local electronic device manufacturer. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Manila. He later attended an Executive Development program at the Asian Institute of Management

Prior to joining Converge ICT, Naguit was part of Voyager Innovations where he provided technology leadership for value creation and digital innovations to drive the market growth and service performance of PayMaya digital payments ecosystem.

He has a strong background in developing and deploying corporate information systems having worked with various companies with nationwide and international business operations for the past 20 years in the areas of Investment Management, Fintech, Telecommunications, Cable Television, Courier, Remittance and Real Estate Conglomerate – residences, office buildings, resorts, hotels, convention centers and gaming. At Converge ICT, Naguit will champion the maximization of emerging technologies to drive innovations and enable new ways of business.

Naguit is a licensed Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology, Executive Program from Asian Institute of Management and Six Sigma from Motorola University.

Appointed as Chief Network Transformation Officer, Mr. Paulo Martin Santos brings to Converge a wealth of knowledge and experience, such as but not limited to leading Digital Transformation and Network Innovation in various industries including Telecommunications, Banking, and Government.

In 2013, Mr. Santos joined Globe Telecom where he managed innovation programs. Thereafter, he founded his own startup that focused on providing WiFi business analytics to SMEs, which was eventually acquired by Smart Communications. He then led Smart’s Wi-Fi Business Development group and later spearheaded the various operations and customer experience initiatives across the PLDT Group of Companies. In 2017, he led the digital transformation of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as its Chief Technology Innovation Officer and later joined Unionbank of the Philippines as Vice President and Head of Enterprise Communications, Collaboration, and Security where he steered the transformation of Unionbank’s IT arm to a cloud ready Software Defined Network (SDN).

Mr. Santos earned his bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering from the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman. He was outstandingly recognized by the University as one of the recipients of the Parangal sa Mag-aaral Award and was also an active student leader in UP Diliman’s University Student Council.

Matthias Vukovich is Chief Financial Office Advisor of Converge ICT Solutions, Inc. In this capacity, he advises the company on its overall financial planning, capital allocation, treasury, and accounting operations.

Prior to joining Converge, Mr Vukovich served as Chief Finance Officer at Shenzen-based telecommunication technology company uCloudlink and Executive Director in Morgan Stanley. During his 12-year tenure, he led various M&A and financing transactions for Morgan Stanley’s Tokyo, London and Hong Kong Media & Communication coverage teams, with a special focus on the telecommunications infrastructure space. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Vukovich worked for NTT DOCOMO in the corporate sales and international business development functions.
Mr. Vukovich earned a Master of Arts in Business Administration from Vienna University of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Studies from Vienna University.

Mr. Vukovich is employed by Converge ICT Solutions (Global) Limited (Hong Kong) and has been seconded to Converge ICT Solutions, Inc. as consultant and advisor.
